As the child of a British ex-serviceman & an exiled Eastern European from Prague in the midst of the Cold War, Richard had the right foundation to become an international spy. However, always keen to share great secrets he learns, that career was never a viable option.
Instead, Richard spent 30 years being ‘parachuted in’ to countless well known international companies to rescue them from disaster, or to guarantee success of complex missions.
Richard likes to get the most out of life; a former Team GB High & Springboard Diving athlete, a C-Level career with many big names like HSBC, Adidas, & Formula 1, an author, speaker, scuba diver, pilot, skier, open-water swimmer & keen social entrepreneur. He often says if we only have 1 life, why not try to live 3, always gaining experiences & skills, & some great stories along the way!

Richard frequently appears on Podcasts, and has been a published author for many decades, with his first mainstream publisher solo book in 2009. He is also planning to launch a regular Podcast called ‘Life on own Terms’, focused on how everyone can define their own future.
Venture 7 – Networking for Good
A community centric networking group since 2020. NfG has been meeting weekly, with members from across the globe. With a ‘no-sell to the room’ policy, it’s about supporting one another, helping one another to grow, and being the great group that really rewards its members, and also rewarding great causes too with our weekly vote.
Paying members can attend any Monday, but anyone can attend, for free, on the 1st Monday of each month (except UK Bank Holidays). Members can also invite anyone as for free as their guest, making it a great way for everyone to experience Networking for Good.
